This Ge Kiln ice crack tea set is crafted in Dehua, Fujian, known as the “Porcelain Capital” of China. The glaze is bright and lustrous, featuring a refined ice crack texture that naturally forms across the surface. Each piece is adorned with hand-painted bamboo motifs, expressing elegance, tranquility, and classical charm. With a complete and thoughtfully designed set, it fully meets the needs of refined tea tasting and traditional tea ceremonies.
Key Features
• Natural Ice Crack Effect: Formed through a special firing process. Before use, faint cicada-wing-like patterns appear; with continued tea infusion, fine cracks gradually develop into the classic “gold and copper lines,” enhancing character over time.
• Excellent Heat Retention & Insulation: High-temperature firing creates a dense ceramic body that locks in tea aroma and temperature while remaining comfortable to handle during pouring.
• Hand-Painted Bamboo Decoration: Each piece is individually hand-painted with vivid and delicate bamboo patterns, symbolizing integrity and elegance.
• Functional & Ergonomic Design: Teapot pours smoothly with clean water cutoff and no splashing. Curved handle fits comfortably in hand. Tea cups are small and refined with smooth rims that fit the lips well. The fair cup features a U-shaped spout for smooth flow, and the strainer effectively filters tea for a clear, pure taste.
